Install Requirements=Time Warner Road Runner services is limited to residential areas/customers only. Businesses and commercial areas are excluded from the service. Service does not support NT Server or Linux. Residential homes w/offices or work at home are treated like commercial business. If you have more than one computer or have a LAN at home,they can only install on one stand-alone machine. They will not install to a computer hooked-up to a LAN. Installation on labtop computers, customer must provide own network card.
Road Runner primarily works with Windows and Mac OS. Win95,Win98,NT4.0 and Mac OS above 7.5.1.

Special Limitations:
Just the basic subscriber agreement on limited use of cable modem. i.e. hosting server,dns server,running programs that will hinder the network..and so on.

Comments:
Ordering the service was quick and painless. I simply called the local number to there call center and was talking to a live customer account representative in less than 5 minutes. I was scheduled for an appointment less than three days after I called (base on demand and quota for service). Installation of the cable modem took less than 20 minutes because there was cable located next to my computer. Your installation might vary from my experience.
